What I don't like is the packaging.... If this is a gift for a wife or girlfriend, and you want to avoid your loved one looking at you and saying...a....gee....thanks? ...Then you must open them first to get rid of the incredibly cheap feel of the packaging. There is a China sticker on the box and a "Made in China" piece of cardboard strung to one of the earrings, and of course the cheap felt bag that came with it.....Ditch the stickers and the bag and maybe get some nicer stuffing for the little black box they come in. I would give a higher rating if the packaging was decent. Especially for the price! Garnet is my birthstone so I'm very familiar with the stone. The garnets in these earrings are a beautiful deep red. The stones are a nice size in comparison to the earrings. Don't expect much with the diamonds. There are 7 of them in each earring, but they are so small, they don't give much sparkle in the light. The presentation of the earrings make up for it though. All in all, I'm impressed and glad I purchased them.
